Hello Marlins Moms and Dads! We regularly post training, nutrition, and safety resources that parents of swimmers will find helpful. Please visit the Parents Page on this web site. Check and click onto helpful resources for swimmer parents! Most recently…
…the USA Swimming Code of Conduct and Athlete Protection Policy was reviewed at our Spring 2015 GA Swimming LSC meetings. Dear Marlins: This just in from California…
Our own Marlin, Dillon Connolly, was in a surfing accident in California sustaining an injury to his neck. We do not know the extent of his injury. But please keep him and his family in your best thoughts and prayers.
You can click on this link to a CaringBridge site that has been set up for him and for all who wish to offer encouragement and wish to get updates on Dillon’s progress. Click HERE, log in if you have a CaringBridge account, or simply give them your name and email address so as to access Dillon’s page.
Be well Dillon! Many thoughts and prayers are on the way!
Heads up! The Marlins kick off the beginning of the year and mark a first training cycle with the Marlins Team meet: this Saturday, Sept. 13 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Mountain View Aquatic Center.
Please sign up at practice the next two days; let your coaches know that you will be there. (And thank you for those who already have notified us!)
The meet will feature some fast relays, mixed-relays, a lot of 50’s, and no DQs!
New Marlins will want to pick up their team caps and shirts! Come cheer on your Marlins–new Marlins and continuing! And… Just because it’s a “fun” meet doesn’t mean it’s not going to be Marlin fast!
See you this Saturday, 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Mountain View Aquatic Center.
