Georgia Age Group and Senior State Results / Big Competitions Coming

3rd Place Age Group/2nd Place Senior

2015072795183717Congratulations to our Marlins for the last two weekends of Georgia state championship swimming!  Team results placed us third among Division 2 teams in Age Group (14 & Under) swimming.  Team results placed us second among Division 2 teams at Senior State.

Two outcomes at the Age Group state championship were Mitch McClain–high point 10 & Under boys.  Then it was Brendan Hausdorf–high point 12 year old boy swimmer.

From Senior State this past weekend: congrats to Derek Onken for his 2016 Olympic Trials cut in the 400 IM, clocking in at 4:25.67.  That makes three Marlins headed to Omaha for Olympic Trials: Stephanie Peters, Connor Oslin, and now Derek Onken.

And then, take note of the Marlins headed to Southern Zone and Jr. Nationals early in August.  Going to Zone competition in Tupelo, Mississippi are: Kamryn Carter, Yan Babayeuski, Cullen Fields, and Brendan Hausdorf.  Off to Jr. Nationals in San Antonio, Texas are: David Dingess and Colin Riley.
